In this book for young readers, I tell a story involving a grandmother’s garden and an unexpected lesson in bees. The garden also provides insight into the vital connection between the bees and the flowers that bloom there. I also provide notes about a beekeeper’s tools and a number of plants that nourish us as well as the bees, with additional space for personal observations. For this project, I did the research, writing, and editing. I then did the layout and designed the cover. The book is published as:
