Over time, I have put together conferences as well as been involved in coordinating a variety of events for the public and for teacher-education programs. I have developed programs and contacted potential presenters, put together agendas and programs, arranged presenter travel and accommodations, and coordinated space, materials, and registrations. In addition, I have designed and produced program materials, provided instruction in stand-alone workshops designed specifically for K–12 educators and administrators, and been involved to various degrees in planning educational programs and events for beekeepers.
Conference planning includes the following:
Five Conferences for Science and Math educators that each involved an evening program and a full day of workshops running four concurrently during each of four sessions throughout the day with additional group opening, lunch, and closing session.
A Consortium for Science and Math educators involving a two-day program of workshops running five concurrently during each of four sessions throughout the day with additional group opening, lunch events, and closing session.
