Introduction to Aquatic Insects for Educators

In this article, I create an overview of basic functional groups of aquatic insects, insects that feed on large as well as insects that rely on very small materials for nutrition. In addition to providing guidelines for identification, I suggest a number of ways in which educators might help students gain hands-on experience as they get a closer look.
